About the Client

Sequence Green is a key delivery partner of the Green Cities and Infrastructure Centre of Expertise Programme
(GCIEP), a demand-driven program that supports the development of sustainable green cities and climate-resilient infrastructure in lower-income countries. The program advances UK Government objectives by accelerating investment in responsible, inclusive, low carbon, and climate-resilient infrastructure and urban development.

The Project

Sequence required a Climate Finance Specialist to support Mozambique’s Gabinete de Financiamento Climático and the Ministry of Land and Environment in assessing proposed NDC investments. The role focused on estimating the financing required for adaptation and mitigation priorities and strengthening the evidence base for climate finance planning.

Advise on proposed NDC investments and alignment with climate finance best practices.
